Constable Dean and Sneaky Driveways

 

Constable Dean came into school to teach us about sneaky driveways and how to keep safe when walking down the road on the footpath.

 

We learned we have to look both ways when we come to a driveway when we can't see if a car is coming or not.

 

How come we can walk past this car? Tell your family why it was safe to walk past it.

 

Then we learned about crossing the street safely. We held Constable Dean's hand and we looked both ways again, even when we were still crossing. 

 

Then we all practised together.
