Here are some of our Haiku poems.
Haiku poems are from Japan, and they have this structure: The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables, and the third and final line has 5 syllables again.

Count out each line to make sure the syllables are correct!

Joshua's Haiku
Autumn leaves fall down.
The trees look naked and bald.
They look so pretty.

Ari's Haiku
Crunchy autumn leaf,
Rustling sounds under my feet.
Fallen from the tree

Cruz's Haiku
Starry autumn leaf,
Coloured red and very dark,
Feeling soft and rough.

Monique's Haiku
The big leaves fall down.
The leaves are different colours.
The leaves sound crunchy.
