We had a fundraiser at school a few weeks ago. An ice skating rink was set up at school in the hall. It was huge, just like a real one. Tell your family how it was different though.
We had so much fun skating!
It was slippery just like ice.
We learned persistence and how to help our classmates if they fell over.
When we came back to class we wrote some very persuasive letters to Mr Maindonald and the Board of Trustees about why we should have a permanent ice skating rink at school. We included where it should go on the school grounds and how we would raise the money. We were very persuasive! I think it might be impossible for the Board to deny our request.
